Retainer Tiers & Pricing
Choose a retainer tier that best aligns with your business needs. Each package provides dedicated fractional leadership to streamline your operations and financial clarity.
Retainer Policies
ClearPath's retainer engagements are designed to provide consistent, ongoing support while keeping expectations, billing, and service terms clear from the beginning.

90-Day Initial Engagement:

All new client relationships begin with a 90-day minimum engagement. This period allows ClearPath to become familiar with your business, evaluate existing financial and operational information, establish meaningful performance baselines where possible, identify opportunities, and begin delivering actionable insights and improvements.

The initial engagement is billed in three monthly installments at the rate of your selected service tier.
Because every business begins from a different starting point, the pace of onboarding, reporting, and analysis may vary depending on the condition, completeness, and availability of the information provided.

Initial Review & Historical Records:

The beginning of each engagement includes a review of the records, systems, and information necessary to provide your selected services.

Routine bookkeeping maintenance and reasonable onboarding adjustments are included according to your service tier. However, significant historical bookkeeping backlogs, account reconstruction, extensive cleanup, system migrations, or remediation of records predating the engagement may require a separately scoped project.

If additional work is necessary, the recommended scope and any additional cost will be discussed and approved before that work begins.

When existing records require substantial correction or reconciliation, certain financial reports, comparisons, or analyses may be delayed until sufficiently reliable information has been established. ClearPath will continue working on other areas of the engagement that can be meaningfully evaluated during this process.

Billing & Automatic Payments:

Invoices are issued on the 25th of each month for the following month's services and are due by the 1st of the service month.

All recurring retainer engagements require enrollment in automatic payments through the secure Client Portal. Clients may pay by ACH bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments may be subject to an applicable processing fee.

Clients are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and ensuring sufficient funds or available credit at the time payment is processed.

Payments not received by the 3rd are considered past due. Beginning on the 4th, services may be temporarily suspended until the account is brought current. A service suspension does not extend the service period or eliminate payment obligations under the engagement. Any suspension resulting from nonpayment does not extend the service period, alter the established billing cycle, or relieve the Client of payment obligations under the engagement.

Cancellation & Continuing Services:

The initial 90-day engagement is a minimum financial commitment. Clients may provide written notice during this period that they do not wish to continue; however, cancellation during the initial engagement does not eliminate or reduce the financial commitment for the full 90 days. Remaining payments will continue according to the established monthly billing schedule.

After the initial 90-day engagement, services automatically continue on a month-to-month basis and may be cancelled by either party with at least 30 days' written notice.

Payments due through the effective cancellation date remain the Client's responsibility. If services are requested to end immediately rather than continuing through the applicable notice period, fees already paid or otherwise due will not be prorated or refunded, except as required by law or provided in the Service Agreement.

Service Tier Changes:

Clients may request an upgrade to their service tier at any time, subject to availability. Downgrades requested during the initial 90-day engagement will take effect only after the original 90-day commitment has been completed.

Our Commitment:

The 90-day structure is designed to provide enough time to develop a meaningful understanding of your business rather than simply delivering surface-level observations.

ClearPath's goal is to establish reliable information, identify what matters most, and turn that understanding into practical insights and recommendations that support better business decisions and long-term improvement.

These policies provide a general overview of ClearPath's retainer structure. Complete engagement terms, payment authorization, scope of services, and other applicable provisions will be provided in the Client Service Agreement before services begin.
